Al Ferguson (Al Ferguson)
Actor. Born in County Wexford, Ireland, he was a prolific performer appearing in nearly 300 films between 1912 and 1958. He began his career acting in a traveling theatre troupe and made his screen debut in the short reel film “The Whiskey Runners” (1912). Cast mostly in western and action features, his many credits include “Hell Hounds of the Plains” (1926), “The Lighting Express” (1930), “Rustlers’ Hideout” (1945), “The War of the Worlds” (1953) and “Blazing the Overland Trail” (1956). He also was a regular on the “Sky King” TV series. He died at age 83 un Long Island, New York. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
