Charles Emmett Mack (Charles Emmett Mack)
Actor. He was discovered by director D. W. Griffith, who cast him in his films “Dream Street” (1921), “One Exciting Night” (1922), “The White Rose” (1923), and “America” (1924). Mack later joined Warner Bros. and seemed destined for stardom when he was killed in a car crash while filming “The First Auto” (1927). He is not to be confused with another actor named Charles E. Mack, who died in 1934 and is buried in Forest Lawn in Glendale.
