Born Adrienne Ruth McClure, she played in films such as “The Death Kiss,” “George White’s Scandals” and “The Road to Reno.” Married for a time to actor Bruce Cabot, she leaves films business in 1941 and becomes a commentator on a New York City radio station, interviewing celebrities and dispensing beauty suggestions.
