Actor. Born Virgil Oliver in Henderson Kentucky, he was veteran in some 90 movies from 1925 to 1943. His films included “Daring Days” (1925), “The Lone Ranger” (1927), “Before Dawn” (1933), “Car 99” (1935), “Klondike Annie” (1936), “Ambush” (1939), “The Grapes of Wrath” (1940) and “Batman” (1943). He died in Los Angeles, California.
