Charactor Actor. Eddie started in show business at the age of 7 as he was a part of his parents vaudeville act. He appeared in “Should Husbands Marry” (1924). In 1926, producer Mack Sennett signed him to a series of two-reel comedies beginning with “A Love Sundae”. Other films include “Kitty from Killarney” (1926), “Mutiny on the Bounty” (1935) co-starring Clark Gable, “Young Mr Lincoln” (1939), “The Grapes of Wrath ” (1940), “Jungle Queen” (1945), and “The Strongest Man in the World” (1975). His career took in over 200 two-reelers, features and television programs. Quillan worked with the biggest names in Hollywood . He was a long time member of the Way Out West Tent of the Sons of the Desert (a Laurel and Hardy Club) for which he was honored for his work in the film “Hollywood Party”. Eddie Quillan was son of actor Joseph Quillan and Sarah Owen. Brother of actor John Quillan and actress Marie Quillan.
