Voice Actress. A native of Denver, Colorado, she is best known as the voice of the evil step-sister ‘Drizella’ in the classic Disney animated film, “Cinderella” (1950). She began her career at the age of 9, and then she got the role of ‘Betty’ on the radio version of “Father Knows Best” from 1949 to 1953. Among her other work is the films, “National Velvet” (1944), “The Corn Is Green” (1945), “Our Vines Have Tender Grapes” (1945), “That Haven Girl” (1947), “House Of Strangers” (1949), “The Persuader” (1957), “The Heart Is A Rebel” (1958), “Space Master X-7” (1958), “High School Hellcats” (1958), “The Sergeant Was A Lady” (1961), “Triangle” (1970), and television programs, “The Big Valley,” “Tightrope,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “Laredo,” “Felony Squad,” “Mixed Doubles,” “Dragnet,” “Search,” “The Jimmy Stewart Show,” and “Marcus Welby, M.D.” She was married to David Van Meter. She passed away from natural causes in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 75. (bio by: K)
