Edna Skinner

Actress. She is best remembered for her television roles as, ‘Maggie’ on “Topper” from 1954 to 1955, and ‘Kay Addison’ on “Mister Ed” from 1961 to 1963. She also appeared in the films, “The Kissing Bandit” (1948), “Easy To Love” (1953), “The Long, Long, Trailer” (1954), “The Second Greatest Sex” (1955), “Friendly Persuasion” (1956), and “Footsteps In The Night” (1957). She also played ‘Sadie Clayburn’ on “Daniel Boone” ‘Mrs. Wright’ on “The Beverly Hillbillies” and ‘Ado Annie’in the Broadway musical, “Oklahoma!.” Skinner last acted in 1964, and went onto become a champion angler, travelling over 485,000 miles around the United States, and wrote more then 280 articles for sports and fishing magazines.
