German Film Actress. Born in Augsburg in Bavaria, she was the mother of actress Romy Schneider. Magda was a popular actress in the 1930s and 1940s, and continued her career into the 1950s and 1960s, sometimes appearing with her more famous daughter Romy. She appeared in some 40 films.
