Giuliano Gemma (Giuliano Gemma)
Actor. Born in Rome, Italy, Giuliano was an avid sports man in many fields. His boxing, tennis, and gymnastic ability combined with his good look and the love he had for cinema open the door for him in the Italian movie industry. Giuliano was hired as a stuntman for Italian movies, but director Duccio Tessari offered him a real acting opportunity. Gemma was the Italy’s Clint Eastwood; he played in so many “Spaghetti Western” movies including “A gun for Ringo”, “Ringo returns”, “Day of Anger 1967 with Lee Van Cliff. Although his popularity and fame did not reach the American shores but in Europe, and the Asian market he had a great success and popularity as Montgomery Wood or simply as “Ringo”.
