Jason Evers (Jason Evers)
Actor. A native of New York, New York, and a veteran of World War II, Evers’ real name was Herb Evers. Evers is best remembered for his role as ‘James “Jim” Sonnett’ in the television series, “The Guns of Will Sonnett” from 1967 to 1969, which also starred Dack Rambo and Walter Brennan, and for his role as ‘Dr. Bill Corter’ in the cult classic film, “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die” (1962). Among his other roles were in films like, “Pretty Boy Floyd” (1960), “House Of Women” (1962), “Tarzan’s Jungle Rebellion” (1967), “The Green Berets” (1968), “Escape From The Planet of The Apes” (1971), “Fer-de-Lance” (1974), “Claws” (1977), “Barracuda” (1978), “Golden Gate” (1981), and “Basket Case 2” (1990). Evers also appeared in over 67 television shows. Evers passed away from heart failure at the age of 83, in Los Angeles, California.
