Child Actor.  Born in Los Angeles,  he began appearing as an infant in westerns directed by his father,   William Reaves Eason.  The blond,  camera-friendly moppet was called upon to provide heart appeal to oaters starring Art Acord,  Hoot Gibson,  and Harry Carey,  and he was billed as “Universal’s Littlest Cowboy”.  His 12 films include “Nine-Tenths of the Law” (1918),  “The Thunderbolt” (1919),  “The Kid and the Cowboy” (1919),  “The Lone Ranger” (1920),  and “Sure Fire” (1921).  Eason had his first lead role in the successful drama “The Big Adventure” (1921) and was poised to become one of Hollywood’s youngest stars when he was accidentally run over by a truck during filming of “The Fox” (1921).  He was six years old.
