Actor. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he appeared in “Treasure Island” (1934) co-starring Wallace Beery and Jackie Cooper, “Naughty Marietta” (1935) co-starring Jeanette MacDonald, “A Day at the Races”(1936) co-starring The Marx Brothers, “Ali Baba Goes to Town” (1937), “The Three Musketeers” (1939), “Charlie Chan at Treasure Island” (1939), “Road to Zanzibar” (1941) co-starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, and “The Big Store” (1941) co-starring The Marx Brothers. He married at age 70 Patricia Mowbray, who was 28. He died of a heart attack at age 84.
