Actor. He was a very prominent actor in the Spanish theater and film in a career that lasted several decades. After studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Madrid, he got his start in the theater in 1957.  Centenero acted in many plays while also starring in many films through the years working with such actors and actresses as Richard Burton and Sara Montiel.   He appeared in such films as “Cotolay” (1966), “Ya no soy virgen, olé, ya no soy virgen” (1982) and “Return of the Evil Dead” (1973).    Centenero was a bodyguard for Anthony Quinn during the filming of “Lawrence of Arabia”.    He later also worked as professor at an acting academy.
