William Bronder (William Bronder)
Actor. He will be remembered for playing ‘Milo Pressman’ in the Rob Reiner hit film “Stand by Me” (1986). Raised in New York City (some sources state date of birth as August 16, 1928), he served with the United States Merchant Marines and later the United States Army, prior to relocating to California, where he was discovered. He made his professional debut, when he was cast in the TV series “Hec Ramsey” (1973) and went on to appear in scores of programs, among them “The Streets of San Francisco”, “The Rockford Files”. “Barnaby Jones” and “Hill Street Blues”. Among his other film credits include “Cannery Row” (1982), “Best Seller” (1987) and “Return to Me” (2000). (bio by: C.S.)
