John Bleifer (John Bleifer)
Actor. Prolific film and television character actor who enjoyed a six decade career starting in 1927. He worked in both the silent and sound eras, in productions including We Americans (1928), Manhattan Melodrama (1934), Les Misérables (1935) as Chenildieu, Charlie Chan at the Opera (1936), Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo (1937), The Mark of Zorro (1940) as Pedro, Aladdin and His Lamp (1952), The Gene Krupa Story (1959), The George Raft Story (1961) as George Raft’s father, W.C.
