Daisy Robinson Jefferson (Daisy Jefferson)
Actress. A native of New York City, she was the wife of stage actor Thomas Jefferson and the sister of actress Gertrude Robinson Kirkwood. She is known for her portrayal of ‘Meenie Van Winkle’ in both the stage play of “Rip Van Winkle” in 1914, and the film version in 1921. Her other credits include the films, “The Country Chairman” (1914), “A Bad Man And Others” (1915), “The Law Of Duty” (1915), “The Price Of Power” (1916), “Intolerance: Love’s Struggle Throughout The Ages” (1916), “Happiness Of Three Women” 91971), “The Spirit Of Romance” (1917), “The Clever Mrs. Carfax” (1917), “Fallen Angel” (1917), “When The Clouds Roll By” (1919), and “A Slave Of Vanity” (1920), among others.
