Luisa Ferida (Luisa Ferida)
Actress. Real name Luigia Manfrini Farnè, she was considered one of the most popular wartime actresses. She landed roles in films such as “The Iron Crown,” “The Sleeping Beauty,” “All Life in One Night,” “Tomb of the Angels,” “The Last Good-bye” and “Jealousy.” In 1942 she won the Best Italian Actress award. She was shot by communist partisans with actor Oswaldo Valenti, her partner on the screen and in real life. (bio by: MECC)
