American Model, Singer and Actress. Farrington was a fashion model in New York City before appearing in Playboy magazine as ‘Playmate of the Month’ for its October 1957 issue. In the  early 1960s, she appeared on Broadway in several plays and starred in “Kitty, I Hardly Knew You” and sang in several nightclubs. She eventually married acting coach Burton Lane and gave birth to a daughter, actress Diane Lane, before divorcing in 1965. Farrington, who would later remarry and launch a career as an interior designer, died in hospice care. (bio by: Louis M.)
