Iran Eory (Iran Eory)
Iranian-Spanish-Mexican Actress and Singer. She was born in Teheran (Iran) and died in Mexico City (Mexico). She debuted in Spain, at the age of 16 in cinema with the film “El Diablo Toca la Flauta”, directed by José María Forqué. After being named Miss Monaco in 1959, she returned to cinema, appering in more than 30 films in Spain, such as “Ensayo General para la Muerte” (1962), “Vuelve San Valentín” (1962) and “La Verbena de la Paloma” (1964). She is fondly remembered for her funny strip-tease in TV hit “Historias de la Frivolidad” (1967). She simulate a strip-tease during Middle Age, and she take off … her armour. She move to Argentina, and later Mexico, where developed a succesful career on stage and in TV series such as “Cuando Llega el Amor,” “Esmeralda,” “La Usurpadora,” “Por un Beso” and “Aventura en el tiempo,” her last work, with her husband, the actor Carlos Monden.
