Tilla Durieux

Actress. Born Ottilie Helene Angela. Durieux made her debut in 1902 in Olmütz. From 1903 to 1933 she performed in Berlin, starting out as a member of Reinhardt’s ensemble (until 1912). In 1912 she played the Circe in Calderon’s comedy of the same name. In 1913 she played Frank Wedekind’s ‘Lulu’ in Munich.
