Actress. Born in Paris, France, she made her first appearance on the stage at the age of five. In 1820s, she gained popularity performing in roles known as Dejazets and finally she became manager of the Folies-Déjazet Theatre. She continued to perform into her mid 60s, retired in 1868 and then took a touring company to London’s Opera Comique, in 1870. She died at age 77 in Paris, France. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
