Australian born actress who starred in “The Ghost Train”(1931) and “Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines”(1965). Also starred as Mum in the comedy series “On the Buses” during the first series. Became a Dame Commander of the British Empire (D.B.E.)for services to the theatre.
