Howard   Keel

Actor. Born Harold Clifford Keel, he was a versatile performer fondly remembered for the role as Clayton Farlow on the popular TV series “Dallas”, 1981 to 1991. He was a baritone singer known as one of MGM’s finest songbirds. He appeared in some of the finest musicals cinema ever produced such as “Annie Get Your Gun” (1950), “Showboat” (1951), “Kiss Me Kate” (1953), “Calamity Jane” (1953) and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” (1954). His other film credits include “The Big Fisherman” (1959), “Armored Command” (1961), “Waco” (1966), “The War Wagon” (1967), “Arizona Bushwhackers” (1968) and many more. He died of cancer at age 85.
